The Line of Life, which encircles the Mount of Venus, doesn’t tell how long a person will live, but is rather and indicator of the Quality of life in store for the person.

A line of Lift that appears to stop part way down the palm, if it’s deep and clear, indicates a reckless nature.

If it’s short and weak, they’re not interested in the world around them. A long Line of Life that is deep and clear indicates vitality and a robust outlook on life.

A person’s Line of Life can branch out to other parts of the palm ( chiefly the Mount of Luna ), where it indicates a love of travel.

Or it can curve even farther into the Mount of Luna, indicating an exploratory nature.

Many times, in dealing with a short Line of Life, I’m reminded of a couple I once interviewed during the time I worked as a reporter.

They had been married for seventy – five – years. I was certain they would have interesting things to say about their life together and their long individual lives.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I used all my interviewing skills but learned from them only that they had never traveled, didn’t belong to any church,

didn’t read much and never had , watched a little TV, didn’t have many friends and never had, subscribed to no special diet and had no favorite foods, no habbies, a daughter who visited once in a while, and didn’t even own a dog or cat.

They had no explanation for why their marriage had lasted so long, didn’t care about world events, kept the house fairly clean and didn’t do any particular form of exercise.

As I was heading for the door, anxious to leave, the wife said to me, “I don’t know why we’ve lived so long or been married as long as we have. We’ve never done anything”.

By the tie I got back to the office. I was thoroughly depressed. I wish now that I had asked to see their palms. I suspect they had weak, short Lines of Life despite their ninety – odd years of living on this planet.
